Marsha La Tessa

Marsha has been involved in the real estate industry for over 22 years with a focus on acquisition, marketing, finance and development. Marsha began her career with IDHA, a quasi-government bonding authority lending to developers for mixed-income housing. She worked throughout the United States as an acquisitions officer for VMS Partners, and was responsible for acquisition, planning and development of residential subdivisions in Westchester and Putnam counties for Hartz Mountain.

Marsha spent the late 80s and early 90s in Los Angeles, where she built and sold several high-end residential properties including Santa Barbara beachfront. While on the west coast, she added to her degree in business and finance by studying art history at the graduate level at UCLA and USC, and was a founding member of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.

Marsha fostered the Vesta residential brand and the company was early in bringing design-driven boutique product to the Manhattan market. It seemed natural that the wave of interest in design that was taking over the boutique hotel industry would generate equal excitement in the then-conservative New York condo market. Marsha has broadened the acquisition program to include sites in Baja California Sur, Mexico.

Marsha is also the owner of La Tessa Designs, a boutique residential and interior design firm working with select private clients and development groups.
